"Until enlightened social democrats like us could ensure all the seeds got good dirt, you couldn’t just gauge a plant’s potential by how far it’d already grown, but had to carefully consider each case."

The trouble with that is, discrimination for any motive does not ensure all the seeds get good dirt. It ensures that the seeds you favor get the good dirt you have taken away from the seeds you disfavor.

Couldn't agree more as of our present 21st century hangover, but can also empathize with the blinkeredness of '60s idealists who truly believed unleashed technocratic expertise had ended the Depression and won World War II. Folks like my Dad genuinely meant/mean well, for what little it's been worth!

Not only did "higher education" turn out to be a massive social engineering program with branches nurturing CRT and the Professional Managerial Class (PMC), but it also contributed to the economic destruction we face.

Destroying peoples lives and potential because they are the wrong race, color or gender is not “meaning well,” it is psychopathic. I fail to see how DEI zealots and “progressive” politics are anything other than a new type of Jim Crow, the only difference is who it is directed towards?!

These people are no different than the Ku Klux Klan, their ideology and intent are exactly the same.

So are people who happen to be White or Asian or male supposed to starve and die in order to uplift BIPOC Supremacy? Concentration camps because someone is the “wrong” color or gender? How is this new racism/sexism any different, hate and discrimination in service of a fundamentally illiberal ideology pretending to be “nice” - it’s evil in the true sense of the word, not to mention shallow/one-dimensional!

Just because it's shallow, one-dimensional, and ultimately evil doesn't mean its practitioners don't still have the best of intentions! People really like to feel like the heroes of their narratives, and utopian technocracy is a helluva drug.
